Position: Part Time retail sales associate

Responsibilities:

    • To maintain customer service standards and help to achieve sales target.
    • Maintain housekeeping standards at all time to ensure the correct representation of Company's brand.
    • Check and authorise timesheets and leave forms.
    • Ensure register stock balances on closing each night.
    • Dynamic and proactive in meeting sales target by personalized service to walk in customers.
    • Provide luxury customer service levels to all customers.
    • Well-versed in product knowledge.
    • Ensure stocks are replenished on need-to-basis and adhere to stock replenishment procedures and guidelines.
    • Inventory management and housekeeping
    • Frontline retail operations
    • Inventory duties
Requirements:
    • Creates a team, whose activities will be coordinated in order to make sure that this team is always motivated and competent
    • Conversant in English and preferably bilingual
    • Pleasant personality with excellent customer service and communication skills
    • Willingness to work on roster based on retail hours and weekends
    • Able to work at Marina Bay Sands, till late night.
    • At least "O" Levels or NITEC qualified
    • Able to speak well and presentable looking
    • Team player and proactive
    • Attractive remuneration with incentive.
    • Temporary or Permanent part-timer are welcomed.

Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows $4.00 with popcorn at GV Vivocity on 15 Dec (6 pm)

Singapore Computer Society (SCS) is organising a Movie Fiesta for all Student Chapter members from the various IHLs.
 
They have booked an entire cinema just for IHL students from SP, NP, NYP, RP, TP, NUS, NTU, SMU etc.
 
The movie to be screened is the latest Harry Potter movie "Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows".
 
Movie screening date/time/venue is 15 Dec 2010 (Wed) 6 pm at GV Vivocity.
 
They have reserved 10-15 tickets for SP chargeable at $4.00 with movie + popcorn combo.
 
IMPORTANT: Students must be able to produce your admission card (with SCS sticker) when being admitted to the show.

Student Design Challenge @ i-CREATe

Dear DMIT students


The 5th International Convention on Rehabilitation Engineering & Assistive Technology ( i- CREATe) will be held from 21 – 23 July 2011 in Bangkok, Thailand which comprises conference, workshops,exhibition and student design challenge.

The Student Design Challenge (SDC) is of the highlights for i- CREATe and has drawn a large number of audience.

It is now serving as a prime recruiting opportunity for identifying talented students.

Over the last 3 years,SDC has received entries from Thailand, Singapore, China, Malaysia, Japan, Korean and Hong Kong.

In 2011 Student Design Challenge is into the 4th installment and will focus on the creative, innovative and systematic application of technologies and engineering methodologies to meet theneeds of people with disabilities include childhood disabilities and the elderly to help improve their quality of life in areas which include education, rehabilitation, employment, transportation, internment living, and recreation.

You are encouraged to participate in the competition and gain valuable international exposure.
