NTUC Fairprice's Diploma Scholarship 2011

All applications must be duly completed with relevant supporting documents (including Results transcripts, CCA records, testimonials) and submitted to the Student Service Centre, Block T16 level 2 (c/o Ms Regina Lim/ Ms Chloe Tan) by 30 May 2011.  Late applications will not be entertained.
 
Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview.  The decisions of the Co-operative’s Management will be final and no enquiries will be entertained.

NTUC FAIRPRICE’S SCHOLARSHIP 2011
 
 
  1. We are pleased to inform you that this year, our Co-operative is once again offering a total of 5 scholarships to outstanding undergraduates from our local polytechnics. We would appreciate if the Polytechnic could publicise and invite your students to apply to our Scholarship Scheme. Attached are some slides on Fairprice's Diploma Scholarship 2011.
 
COURSES OF STUDY
 
  1. The students should preferably be pursuing diploma in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, Logistics & Operation Management or Retail Management.
 
ELIIGIBILITY
 
  1. Students who are interested to apply for our Fairprice’s Scholarship must satisfy the following criteria:
           
  1. Be a Full-time Diploma student who is in his/her first, second or third year of studies;
  2. Have good academic results and co-curricular activities (CCA) record;
  3. Be a Singaporean or Permanent Resident.
 
TERMS & CONDITIONS
 
  1. The terms and conditions of the scholarship are as follows:
           
  1. The scholarship award is $5,000 per annum; renewable yearly if the scholar maintains good academic results and conduct records;
  2. The scholar will be required to fulfill their Industrial Attachments at Fairprice;
  3. The scholar will be required to serve a 1 to 3 years’ bond with Fairprice depending on the number of years of funding awarded, i.e. 1 year bond for each year of funding awarded, upon graduation or after serving National Service
  4. In the event if the scholar decides to pursue his/her degree studies, the scholar may write in request for deferment of the servicing of the bond, subject to the Co-operative’s approval.
